Multiple Accounts
As you adopt Akeyless, we recommend that you determine how your business, governance, security, and operational requirements can be met in Akeyless. The use of multiple accounts plays an important role in how you meet those requirements similar to the uses of Namespaces in other solutions.
You can group secrets and Identities with a common business purpose in distinct accounts. As a result, you can align the ownership and decision-making with those accounts and avoid dependencies and conflicts with how secrets in other accounts are secured and managed.
Different business units might have different processes. Depending on your overall security model, you might choose to isolate distinct business units or subsidiaries in different accounts. Isolation of business units can help them operate with greater decentralized control but still provides the ability for you to provide overarching guardrails.
Organizational management
To enable easy work and navigation throughout multiple accounts, users who have access to different accounts can select to which account they want to log in easily using the relevant account alias during login. To add your accounts into an organization reach out to our support for additional help.
