Copy/Paste & Secure Paste Mode
Copying values
Open an item and use the copy control beside any field. Copy All copies a whole key/value set at once.
Values can also be revealed on screen using the eye control, so you can read a value you need to type elsewhere.
Secure paste mode
If your account enables secure paste, reveal and copy of secret values are suppressed throughout the extension:
- the item preview shows no reveal or copy controls
- the sign-in screen hides the show-password control
- the in-page suggestion popup fills without revealing
Values are delivered straight into the target field instead of passing through the clipboard, so a secret never sits somewhere another application can read it.
Why it exists
The clipboard is readable by any application on the machine, and by any web page with clipboard permission. Secure paste removes that exposure for organizations that need it.
Who controls it
This is an account setting, not a per-user toggle. There is nothing to turn on or off in extension Settings. If you need it enabled or disabled, contact your account administrator.
