Email Templating
Email event notifications can now be customized to match your organization's branding and communication preferences. You can configure the sender information, email subject, account details displayed in the email, footer, and images.
📘 Note
The email template applies to event emails only. Other notifications are not affected.
Configuration
To customize the email template for event notifications:
- Go to Account Settings > Email Customization.
- Configure the following fields:
- Sender Name: The name displayed as the sender of the email. Default: Akeyless Security.
- Email Subject: The subject of the email. Default: Security Notice: Your attention is required.
- Account Information: Select which account details to include in the email body. Available options include:
- Account ID
- Company Name
- Tenant Name
- Account Alias
- Email Footer: Add a custom footer that will appear at the bottom of the email.
- Email Image: Choose whether to include images in the email body.
Send a Test Email
Before saving your changes, you can send a test email to preview the template.
Click Send a Test Email to send a test email to the email address of the user currently configuring the template. Review the email to verify the content, branding, and layout before saving your changes.
Reset to Default
After saving the template, you can restore the default email template at any time by clicking Reset to Default.
All customized fields will be reverted to their default values.
